Adjustability

vs.

One size fits all

The idea of one size fits all is puzzling. Is one size supposed to fit all bodies? Or do all bodies need to fit one size?  My pieces are adjustable, using hardware and material properties to allow for every piece to accommodate multiple body types. Each item adjusts to comfortably fit a range of body sizes and shapes, from XS-M or M-XXL. No one item fits all, and if a piece does not comfortably adjust to your size, it means nothing other than the fact that it does not fit you

IVY

A short contemporary dance film on environmental degradation, by Colin Fin.

I designed and made upcycled tent garments for this film.

This was a new and interesting challenge because I had to consider mobility and narrative in creating the piece.
